Stephanie Schantz writes and speaks about what our culture gets wrong about women, motherhood, infertility, and life without children. Through cultural commentary and personal storytelling, she questions the assumptions and systems that shape how women are seen — especially when their lives fall outside the stories society knows how to recognize.

Women who have walked the road of infertility, failed adoption, or a life that didn't go as planned are handed one word: childless. That word quietly tells them their life is missing something. This talk dismantles that language and replaces it with a truth that fits.
After people hear me speak, they will no longer see themselves as less — because my talk will challenge the words society has used to define them and give them new words that fit who they actually are.
